Testel are fully qualified to repair faulty electrical equipment and replace damaged plugs or power outlets.

As an electrical safety testing service, including Test & Tag, Residential Current Devices Testing, Microwave Leakage Testing, Thermal Imaging, Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) and Power Outlets Testing, our qualified electricians and technicians are also able to repair faulty and unsafe equipment and devices.

If it is practical and cost-effective to repair a faulty item, we provide recommendations to our customers and carry out our repair service according to our clientís requirements.

Our Test & Tag Service

As a safety testing service provider, Testel are able to provide an extensive range of electrical safety tests to identify the source of the problem prior to repairing it. Our Test & Tag process includes:

  • Step 1: We will firstly conduct a visual inspection to ascertain whether the device or appliance is in sound physical condition.
  • Step 2: With a range of electrical testing types, we are able to inspect the item with specialised equipment, designed particularly for this purpose. In many instances, the source of the problem canít be visually seen and can only be picked up by special equipment.
  • Step 3: We then tag the item to show users it is safe to AS/NZS 3760 Standards and when it will need to be retested.

Testelís Warranty

All repairs by Testel technicians are under warranty for 12 months and are tagged to show they are safe to use again. Servicing right across Australia, our team of licensed electricians will ensure all testing and repairs are to Australian Standards.
